RESPITE CARE PROVIDER - Western Communities: Per Diem opportunities available in the western communities of Palm Beach County.  Work schedules fluctuate based upon the needs of the families. Respite workers will provide care in the family's home for short periods of time to allow parents to have a break.  Care including siblings.  Staff is required to have: at least one (1) year experience working in children or adults with developmental disabilities, CPR & First Aid Certification, Strong work ethic and a valid Florida Driver’s License and auto insurance, both with a clean record. Potential staff members of The Arc must pass all pre-employment criteria which includes, but is not limited to, testing for drug use and Level II federal background screening.
