Gretchen Rauch Herron, program director (left) welcomes Judite Souto to The Arc’s First Step to Success program. Judite joins the team of Developmental Specialists working with children ages birth-5 years to ensure that they achieve developmental milestones essential for entering school successfully. She has been in South Florida for eleven years and served children in the community through various programs such as Early Steps and Healthy Start. She has provided home-visiting services to many families in diverse populations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Language Arts and is tri-lingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
