Family Match Program
The Arc will match your family with a volunteer mentor family whose child(ren) has the same or similar disabiity that yours does. Support is usually offered by telephone; some parents will prefer email or even face to face meetings. Volunteers are trained by The Arc, but also add the first-hand experience they have gained in raising a child with a developmental disability.
