Family Support Services

The Arc of Palm Beach County offers advocacy and direct support for families who have children and adult children with developmental disabilities, including, but not limited to, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities, Prader-Willi Syndrome, and Spina Bifida.

We are dedicated to expanding opportunities and enhancing the quality of life for children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families.

Every year more than 2,000 families contact The Arc to learn of the multitude of public and private programs to help them deal with a family member's developmental disability.

A  parent-match program links newly diagnosed babies and their families with veteran families with older children who have the same or similar disabilities.

Parent-to-Parent meetings bring parents together for peer support, fellowship and to discuss issues.

Also, The Arc spotlights key local, state and national issues in periodic advocacy alerts.
