The Arc of Palm Beach County

Courage, hope and determination – The Arc of Palm Beach County is rooted in these qualities. For fifty -two years, families of children with developmental disabilities have had the courage to advocate for education, vocational training and opportunities for community inclusion. They have the hope that inspires a vision for a Community for All in Palm Beach County. And their children, be they young ones or adults, daily show the determination to achieve maximum possible independence.

I cannot begin to describe what it is like to see a child in our Potentials School walking and running when doctors had predicted she would never even sit or stand.   Similarly, it is humbling to witness a young man receiving the key to his own apartment when it seemed he might never be able to live on his own. 

We at The Arc are able to offer support to families as they seek out available resources in support of their children, we are able to provide respite care, early intervention, job training and development, safe and affordable group homes. Thanks to people like you who believe in the dignity of all, we pursue our mission to improve the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families.
