Home Based Services

The Arc's Stepping Stone Early Intervention Program was established in 1978 to meet the special needs of infants and toddlers under the age of three years. Play instruction is conducted in the child's home, the community or in child care center and provides the child's care givers the opportunity to participate and understand how to stimulate their child's individual developmental milestones. The Arc's Developmental Specialists are there to give families support and direction on meeting their child's individual needs and integrating fun and stimulating activities into the families every day life. Armed with their "bag full of toys", Developmental Specialist are usually greeted with joy from all members of the family as they share in each developmental triumph your child makes.
