April 15, 2014, Riviera Beach, Florida – It was a WILD night on April 3 at The Gardens Mall, as nearly three dozen of the most intriguing – and uninhibited! – men in Palm Beach County strutted their stuff on the runway for The Arc of Palm Beach County’s WILD Pants Party!Co-chaired by Florence Seiler, Michelle Martin and John Carr, the exciting event raised nearly $40,000 for The Arc and gave the models (who included such diverse men as Jay Cashmere, Jonathan Chane, Varick Foster, Wyatt Koch, Nick Mastroianni, Ed McEnroe, Andre Varona and Greg Zele) and the hundreds of spectators something to talk about for weeks to come. As always, it was difficult to tell who was having a better time – the models or their enthusiastic fans!
Emcees Joe Girvan and Josh Cohen from ESPN 106.3 kept the party going as the models walked, danced and sometimes even stripped their way down the 68-foot runway in fantastic fashions from The Gardens Mall’s generous retailers Bloomingdale’s, Brooks Brothers, Robert Graham and Saks Fifth Avenue. The crowd nibbled on delectable hors d’oeuvres from Brio Tuscan Grille and sipped cocktails made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka or wine from Clos Pagase, all of which were generously donated to help make the night even more spectacular. Sponsorship from community business leaders and individuals including Florida Weekly, Bethesda Hospital Foundation, Christina and Jonathan Chane, Eric Glasband, Greenberg Traurig, Jimmy Kenny, Knight Electric, Wyatt Koch, Soula Rifkin and, of course, The Gardens Mall, was also an invaluable part of making the night so successful.
With the sounds of the laughing, cheering and screaming audience still in the air, the agency is now looking forward to The Arc Invitational golf tournament, which will take place on April 30 at The Dye Preserve in Jupiter. This limited-player event always sells out, so interested golfers are encouraged to sign up for their foursomes soon, before they miss their shot!
